markz

quality

The Quality page: the test suite made browsable, as one HTML file beside the site. It shows what markz is held to, what it costs to ship and hold, and how long it takes, all measured on the commit it is built from. pnpm quality writes it, after prose build writes the rest of the site.

  • quality.ts writes the page.
  • data.ts computes its numbers, by running the harness's own code.
  • element.ts is the <markz-quality> element the page runs, inlined.
  • style.css is its stylesheet, inlined too.

Code

  • data.ts

What the Quality page reports, computed when it is generated: every example markz is held to with its status, each construct's generated edges, and markz's size and speed on this commit.

  • element.ts

One custom element, <markz-quality>, that turns the generated page into a browser for the examples. The page arrives complete: the cards, and every construct as a closed row with its counts. The element adds what needs the data: the status filters and the search, and a construct's examples, built when it is opened rather than all 1,300 up front, fifty at a time.

  • quality.ts

Writes the Quality page as one HTML file: what markz is held to, what it costs to ship and hold, and how long it takes, all measured on this commit when it is generated. The page is the test suite made browsable, and a standalone reference: it has no dependencies, its stylesheet and script are inlined, and the data it browses is a JSON block in the page.
